Summary

As summer draws to a close, we are thrilled to announce that by the end of the season, we will be joined by our fourth lady ship, alongside Scarlet, Valiant, and Resilient Lady, in the Virgin Voyages fleet.

In keeping with the thoughtful tradition of naming our ships, we made sure that her name not only embodies her essence but also aligns with our core values and beliefs. As we strive to consistently craft a bright and vibrant experience for our Sailors—akin to the shimmering seas she will navigate—it felt fitting that our fourth vessel embodies that spirit (yes, the pun is indeed intended). We are truly honored to present Brilliant Lady as the newest member of our fleet.

The name Brilliance was intentionally selected for its dual meaning, signifying both radiance and remarkable talent and intelligence. Our mission on every voyage is to provide our Sailors with an illuminating experience—one so radiant that you’ll return home glowing, rivaled only by the twinkling stars above and the sparkling sea below.

However, the significance of our name extends beyond the vibrant, glowing essence of the ocean and the inevitable post-vacation glow we aim to provide our Sailors. Each of our ships proudly features a beautiful and powerful mermaid at its helm, and Brilliant Lady will follow suit. As we reflect on the strength and resilience portrayed by our other mermaids, we also wish to celebrate the formidable intelligence of women worldwide.

In a society where women continue to strive for their rightful place, intelligence is often a trait they are taught to downplay. Women are encouraged to be pretty, patient, and strong—traits that are typically deemed acceptable. However, being intelligent and truly brilliant is a characteristic that women seldom feel free to celebrate without the fear of being perceived as arrogant or “too much.”

Conversely, men are traditionally encouraged to assert their intelligence, which is rightly seen as confidence and self-worth. Our Brilliant Lady embodies the smart, thoughtful, and boundary-defying minds of women everywhere—unabashedly owning their intelligence, recognizing their significance, and confidently connected to their self-worth.

As we warmly welcome our latest lady ship to the fleet, we do so with pride and enthusiasm. While details about her mermaid and all her dazzling destinations are yet to come, we eagerly anticipate her arrival. We can’t wait to share more about her and the incredible places she will explore, (very, very) soon.

The Wake

An exquisite blend of elegance, nostalgia, and style—stepping into The Wake is an experience unto itself. Once you descend the grand staircase, you’ll find yourself in an ambiance reminiscent of the classic steakhouse and the three-martini-lunch era of Madison Avenue’s ad men. Thankfully, it now embraces gender equality—and much less cigar smoke.

Razzle Dazzle Restaurant

Does your best friend crave something light and healthy while you desire… unicorn toast? This is your place. With a vibrant interior, this lively venue offers unexpected twists on beloved comfort foods. Featuring a menu dubbed “naughty or nice,” you can opt for the plant-based vegetarian offerings or indulge in delightful meats, sweets, and decadent treats. Whether you seek something familiar or a surprising culinary adventure, this spot delivers it all with a (unicorn) twist.

Gunbae

If you enjoy grilling your own meats and sipping soju, our Korean BBQ is the ideal venue for an interactive dining experience (in real life, of course—though feel free to share it on social media). It’s the perfect setting to spark lively conversations, especially with that one friend who insists on being the grill master—so go ahead and roast them while they roast the meat.

The Sweet Side

The Sweet Side of The Galley serves up pastries in the morning (perfect for those with a sweet tooth) and delectable desserts later in the day. It’s a continuous celebration of sweetness, so leave your unsupportive friends by the pool.

Let’s Taco Bout It

Situated in The Galley, this taco haven transports you to the food truck-filled streets of Austin, featuring breakfast burritos in the morning and both vegetarian and meat tacos in the afternoon and evening.

The Daily Mix

This health-focused eatery in The Galley offers yogurt and oatmeal dishes for breakfast and transitions to soups and salads as the day progresses. If you’re looking to make healthier choices, this is your go-to destination.

The Manor

This two-story, three-bar space, named after Richard’s inaugural recording studio, draws inspiration from a classic theatrical spirit infused with a moody, sexy ‘70s punk vibe. Groundbreaking performances will kick off the night before it morphs into an extraordinary nightclub experience that extends into the early morning hours.

The Casino

There’s no wrong way to enjoy a casino (just ask the characters from that 1970s Vegas film), but a great starting point is to choose your slot machine district. Whether you prefer Little Asia, Ocean Drive Tournament Central, or Adventure Alley, there’s a district (with 115 slot machines) to fulfill every gamer’s wish. If table games are more your style, we offer craps, roulette, electronic Texas Hold’em, single deck blackjack, three card poker, and ultimate Texas Hold’em and Baccarat. If gambling isn’t your thing, grab a drink and let our dealers teach you the ropes—so you’ll be ready to play when we’re out on international waters.

The Red Room

Our expansive entertainment venue is the first-ever transformational, multi-form theater at sea. Innovative performances grace the traditional Proscenium stage, while late-night dance parties unfold in the flat-floor configuration—new experiences are constantly emerging here. Designed by the acclaimed theater design consultants Auerbach Pollock Friedlander, we’ve crafted a unique and flexible (yet intimate) theater space that offers a sea (pun intended) of possibilities.

Aquatic Club

With its smooth curves and nautical accents, we’ve designed a pool deck that exudes the sophisticated glamour of a modern yacht. Whether you choose to sunbathe on one of our daybeds or let last night’s choices dissolve away in the pool, you can detox and rejuvenate, or kick off the party anew. Don’t be surprised if paparazzi mistake you for celebrities—we bear no responsibility for how fabulous you look aboard this ship.

The Groupie

With song selections spanning decades, genres, and vocal ranges, these bookable private sessions only require you to have your favorite tracks picked out, warm up your singing voice, and gather your friends for a memorable private dance and singing showdown.

Voyage Vinyl

With our brand’s history rooted deeply in music, our sonic identity peaks at our record shop on board. Stocked with music magazines, headphones, and record players, you can pull up to a listening station with a stack from our selection of both classic and current albums, including special and limited editions.

The Social Club

From The Arcade and The Loose Cannon to The Social Club Diner, The Social Club is your destination for relaxation, gaming, or casually mingling with fellow Sailors. Inside, you’ll discover games like air hockey, shuffleboard, foosball, and a multitude of board and card games. If you’re thirsty, make your way to The Social Club Diner to indulge in a nostalgic and modern interpretation of the soda fountain bar.

The Arcade

Located within The Social Club, The Arcade pays tribute to the beloved arcade games of our youth—such as Pac-Man and other vintage classics, alongside race car games, air hockey tables, shuffleboard, and foosball. Let your inner child roam free here.

Stubble & Groom

Our onboard barbershop serves as a gentleman’s retreat, nodding to traditional British customs of looking (and feeling) sharp. Offering beard trims, haircuts, and pedicures designed to elevate your step, Stubble & Groom is the perfect venue for a refresh and refinement.

Squid Ink

We’ve partnered with World Famous Tattoo Ink, Soho Ink, and Freshly Inked Magazine to establish our very own tattoo studio onboard. The art of tattooing has historical roots in sailors commemorating nautical milestones such as crossing the equator or the Atlantic, or as mementos of epic journeys. Inspired by this beauty and tradition, we celebrate creative self-expression, adventures, and unforgettable life experiences.

The Athletic Club

Designed with the charm of traditional athletic social clubs, our venue features not only an active Training Camp room and boxing classes but also a full-sized basketball court and adult-sized seesaws. After you’re done working up a sweat—or simply lounging in the sun on the daybed that wraps around the space—head to the bar for a refreshing juice or a craft cocktail from our extensive menu.

Gym & Tonic

After breaking a sweat at B-Complex, unwind with a wellness beverage at Gym & Tonic. This juice bar boasts numerous health-focused offerings, alongside a full bar. With a wide array of drinks available to help you relax after giving your all—or even just some of your all—from made-to-order shakes to fresh or cold-pressed juices and our Reset Cocktails that balance health and indulgence, there’s no wrong way to reward yourself for nurturing your mind, body, and soul.
